I've been definitely been very satisfied by my stay at Hotel Mozart. The position is strategic, you're not exactly in the city center (i.e. the first district) but the 9th is a great option for eating and shopping, outside of the more obvious tourist traps. In addition, the Hotel is very close to both U-bahn 4 line (Friedensbrucke) and the D tram line (Franz-Joseph Banhof) and you can get everywhere from these. Concerning the hotel, it is certainly old-fashioned but it has everything you may need for that price range (the wifi was definitely more than decent, and the bathroom is very spacious). Maybe, it is not well suited if you're travelling with small kids, but if it's a business travel or you're in Vienna with your spouse/companion, it is definitely worth a shot.

Old hotel, classic. Staff is very, very kind and helpful. I asked for a room with a bathtub and it was no problem. 24/7 they are at your service. Breakfast was good and plenty. Great location too. Quiet, clean rooms. What was also nice is that they didn’t ask for a safety deposit like so many other hotels do and I really feel it’s unnecessary and makes guests feel unworthy of thrust. Not here. I would stay here again anytime. Was really worth the price. I loved that they have actual, old fashioned keys. Loved the chandelier! I would definitely recommend it.

Great location ! Hotel is located near a key train station and 200m from a metro station. The hotel was very clean and simplistic. Exactly what we needed for our 3 night stay. There is a Billa store and a pharmacy nearby. The staff was also very helpful. Upon our arrival we received a city map with explanations on how to get around the city and some brochures with activity suggestions. The city center is also relatively close. If you decide to walk it will take you around 20 minutes to reach the city center. Overall a pleasant stay ! Would recommend :)

Convenient location even if it is a bit far from the very center of the city. Very Close to the tram/bus station "Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof" whre you can travel to the Ring or Karlsplaz direcly by Tram D Line. Metro Station "Friedensbruecke" *Ubahn no. 4) is 5 minutes to walk. Overall facilities are aged but the bed was very good and the room was spacious enogh for the "budget traveller". Below 80 euro per night. All equipments work without problem. the close by supermarket "Billa" is open even on Sunday which was very convenient.

The location is great! So close to the metro station, you can get to any location easily, also it is a great location if you just take a walk to the center of Vienna because there is so much to see along the way, especially during December while the christmas markets are on.. There are a lot of markets and places to eat nearby. The staff was polite and always there to help with anything, the room was clean and comforting. I recommend it for short stays and will definitely book it again.
